Ken has over 45 years of diversified financial and business management experience. Ken spent several years with an international accounting firm, and has extensive experience in audit and tax planning for small to mid-sized for profit and not-for-profit organizations. In addition, with several years’ experience as the Vice President of Operations for a large real estate development and management firm, Ken provides specialized consulting services in the area of real estate. He has served on the board of several businesses during his career.

Tatyana has over 25 years of experience in the accounting profession. Prior to her employment with Nicholson & Olson, CPAs, Tatyana was involved with tax and accounting services for a Minnesota public accounting firm. Her primary focus of work is in the area of tax and accounting. She has been responsible for organizing and “cleaning up” the records of a variety of businesses. In addition, Tatyana has experience in trust account and administration. As her time permits, she also works in the preparation of review and compiled financial reports.

Terri has over 30 years of professional experience with public accounting firms. Her experience includes managing audits of entities with revenues ranging from $100,000 to $150 million. Her experience includes construction and other for profit entities, not-for-profit organizations, Employee Benefit Plans, and entities reporting to the Security Exchange Commission. Terri maintains the specialized education necessary to audit employee pension benefit plans and government funded non-profit organizations. In addition, she spent several years as personal financial management consultant to professional athletes.

Marvin has over 15 years of accounting and auditing experience. His responsibilities have included performing various audit services, consulting, and agreed upon procedures. Prior to his employment with Nicholson & Olson, CPA’s, Marvin was employed by a large local accounting firm, which specialized in audits of governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations and tax preparation and consulting.

Sarah Tedford joined the firm as a staff auditor in 2016. Her technical experience includes tax preparation for individuals and corporations, extensive and detailed research for the firm, as well as audit and review services for non-profit organizations, HUD, and CIRA’s. Sarah is a graduate of California State University, Berkeley earning a bachelor’s degree in English Literature in 2014.

Steven Nicholson joined the firm as a staff auditor in 2020. His technical experience includes tax preparation for individuals and corporations, extensive and detailed research for the firm, as well as audit and review services for non-profits, HUDs, and governmental organizations. Steven is a graduate of Portland State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He is currently working on acquiring a CPA certification.
